Hoki ki tō Mounga

This work draws on rauru, raperape, takarangi and spiral forms shaped in the likeness of Maunga Taranaki — embodying him as a life force, a place of healing, wānanga and creation. Arrow forms emerge from the pūhoro, representing the flows and journeys that carry the patterns of our rohe — our maunga, our ngāhere, and our moana.

Created from repurposed timbers and plywood, each mark and blemish from its past life remains, adding to the organic and rustic presence of the piece.

41.5cm x 76cm

“Shipping is arranged separately after purchase. Once your order is placed, I’ll contact you with courier options and costs. Local pickup in Ōpunake is also available
